Summer Vibes in 2017 Fashion Trends! What You should have in your Wardrobe?
Published: 21st June 2017
Runways shows & Celebrity Styles. We have the perfect Selection for your desire Trends right now. What you need is to have at least one of the fashion must have selection this Summer and just dive…Lets be creative!
Cupid is in the air. Mixing colors will be a refreshing change in Summer 2017 as opposed to monochrome like these past seasons. This theme was very popular in the Valentino Spring RTW collection. Most of the time however this color trend was broadcasted throughout runway shows this season.
A glance at the summer 2017 fashion month and it’s just clear-cut that the designers fired on all cylinders to kick-start a wide scale pink revolution in the fashion circuit. Ranging from amaranth and brink pink to raspberry and ultra-pink, the runway had them all in droves. Yet it was Pink Yarrow along with Pale Dogwood that came out on top to be included in the Pantone’s list of the spring/ summer 2017 color trends.
Standing so close to magenta, Pink Yarrow can be rightly dubbed as the most attention-grabbing and luxuriant shade among the summer 2017 color trends. It’s so bold and rich, having all traits to produce an adrenaline rush.
2. Bold contrasting stripes
Although there have been some accusations about polka dots and floral being the prints of Spring/Summer, we can see that stripes are what to pay attention to. Some online sources suggest they will be more nautical, however, based on Missoni, Fendi, Proenza Schouler, Adam Selman and Chloe, I think they will be more of a bold statement. SS17 is all about color!
We can’t be the only one who has been seeing this influx of metallic shades everywhere. These shiny fabrics have been made into fun jackets, shoes and dresses.
It is more of a color trend, but we are adding it here as well because that metallic look and feel is very much in right now and even without sequins, it is simply something from the ‘80s that has been adopted for 2017. It is not just silver we see either, but a good amount of bronze as well, something Cynthia Rowley seems to excel in using for her collection.
it is Primrose Yellow that shapes up one of the spring/ summer 2017 color trends and for good reason. This invigorating and uplifting yellow is bound to warm the cockles of our heart, so sunny and joyful. We surely lay blame on that lovely flower primrose to light up the spring/ summer 2017 runways many a time and oft.
At Gucci, Alessandro Michelle presented Primrose Yellow from a more dramatic perspective on a ruffled dress with poetic sleeves, while Alexis Mabille used this shade on a couple of eveningwear and laid-back blouses, let alone those car-wash-pleated skirts creating black + yellow color blocks.
And if you just can’t get enough of this vigorous shade, make a beeline for Chloé or else stop by Damir Doma to catch a frayed and tattered version of Primrose Yellow. If you are scared to wear this striking color, I suggest taking inspiration from the runway shows and incorporating an orange handbag, hat or belt to add this trending color to your wardrobe.
5. Off The Shoulder
At least once in every collection there appeared to be the one sleeve trend. This trend was an obvious reoccurring theme throughout ALL the collections. We did not imagine this coming but with the popularity of it shows that this will be a must have style this warm months.
